Statins Drugs Can Worsen Clogged Arteries

The danger of Statin Drugs

Despite their overwhelming popularity and the fact that guidelines for their use are continuing to change which would make even more people arrive in the land of the prescribed, statins are not for everyone.

First of all, they’ve been shown to be not very effective for most women.

And according to renowned cardiologist Dr. Steven Sinatra, they should definitely not be used by children, but sadly that’s exactly what’s happening in our society.

Well, a third strike against statins has just come up.

Because a recent study has shown that in 20 percent (one out of five) people taking statins, not only are they NOT effective, but they can actually result in even worse clogged arteries!

And the worse thing to me is that many of my friends are taking statin drugs.

Aspirin

Sunday, March 8th, 2015

The “lowly” aspirin has an immediate and lasting effect on blood platelets. Aspirin makes them less likely to clump together and form a clot. There are over 50 trials that have demonstrated the safety and efficacy of aspirin as a heart drug.

Aspirin is also a powerful anti-cancer agent according to a report in the January 2011 Lancet.

Vitamin D

Saturday, March 7th, 2015

Vitamin D is fat-soluble and effects more than 200 genes in your body. It is essential for optimal health. Yet there is widespread vitamin D deficiency.
If you lived at the Equator you probably wouldn’t need to supplement vitamin D. But here in Minnesota you only have three or four months where you probably can get enough D from the sun. They say that 20 minutes a day of exposure to the sun without makeup or sun screen is sufficient. But in the winter time the sun is too low to give you the needed vitamin D. To top this off the American Academy of Dermatology has said that vitamin D should not be obtained from unprotected exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun or tanning devices.

So the safest thing to do is to take a vitamin D supplement of 2,000 to 5,000 IU a day. After three months take a 25-hydroxyvitamin D blood test so you get your optimal blood level. The standard today is between 50-80 ng/mL year round.

Healing Results

Some of you may remember when I talking about Acuscope and Myopulse. Last Labor Day (2014) I could not walk a mile. Most days I just laid around because I had no energy and an hour of anything wore me out.
That Labor Day I started treatments with the Acuscope and Myopulse procedures. For two months I received 36 treatments total. By the end of that time my health had been restored.
After having a cardiac arrest on May 4, 2007 and having a pacemaker inserted March 3, 2014 by Labor Day 2014 they doctors had said there was nothing wrong with my heart and nothing wrong with my lungs. I just couldn’t breathe.
When I began the treatments with the Acusope and Myopulse machines I found my body was full of inflammation. My cells were almost completely shut down so that I could not get nutrients in nor get toxins out. But as the treatments continued the nanovolts removed my inflammation, opened my cells so that I could get nutrition and oxygen in and rid the toxins and I became stronger and healthier. Today I walk two miles in less than 30 minutes.
I have changed my diet to rarely eat processed food and stay pretty much gluten free.
At 79 years of age I have more energy than I’ve had in years.

If your health is in need of repair I would highly recommend that you check out Acusope and Myopulse technology.

Alzheimer’s

Wednesday, March 4th, 2015

Alzheimer’s is the most expensive disease in America. It it decimating federal and state health care budgets plus depleting the life savings of millions of Americans. The greatest cost of Alzheimer’s is personal. It steals our memories, steals our independence and also steals our dignity.
Alzheimer’s disease increases every year. Hunting Potter, a neurobiologist at the University of Colorado School of Medicine says: “If we don’t get some control over this disease it’s going to bankrupt both Medicare and Medicaid.”
The government’s answer: give less funding to this problem. Washington gives $5.4 billion this year for cancer research, about $1.2 billion for heart disease, while funding for Alzheimer’s is a mere $566 million.

Now look at the other side. Studies have shown that 70 percent of our diseases come from improper diet and lack of exercise. Some studies go as high as 90 percent.

My question is: When will the government shut down “animal farms” where drugs and GMO foods are the major source for diseased animals? When will pharmaceutical companies put more money into research rather than advertising? When will the government support “organic” farming like they subsidize GMO farming? Simple arithmetic shows that organic farming is no more expensive than other farming when played on a level playing field. I know it will never happen in my lifetime. But someday the American people may wake up and see that GMO foods are more expense in causing diseases of all kinds and go back to real food and not all this artificial foods filled with all kinds of toxins.

Chia – Inhibiting Diabetes

Monday, March 2nd, 2015

With so many people today with diabetes and prediabetes research suggests supplementing with chia gel which can prevent insulin resistance that leads to diabetes.
Consuming chia with a meal can combat blood sugar spiking by turning food into a constant, steady blood-sugar energy. “Chia’s high content of complete protein and its combination of soluble and insoluble fiber combine with the chia-gel barrier to slow down your body’s conversion of carbohydrates into blood sugar.”

Egg and Butter Replacement

Sunday, March 1st, 2015

Continuing with the chia seeds we see they are excellent replacement for eggs. Because of the gelling of chia it can be used as substitute in foods and baked goods. Use one tablespoon of chia seeds and three tablespoons of water and let sit for 15 minutes.
Also chia gel can be used for to replace half of the butter called for by making up the other half with chia.
For those people who want to reduce dietary cholesterol and calories this is a good substitute.
